Care Education works with communities across India to support locally led development, widen access to learning, and build practical digital skills.
Care Education
Everything we do sits under one of three pillars. Together they help people learn, connect and shape the future of their own community.
Local action on the things residents say matter most, planned with panchayats and partners.
Learning that happens in the community, for children, young people and adults.
Helping people use technology with confidence, for everyday life and for work.
Care Education brings together a team with years of hands-on experience in community work, corporate partnerships and skills training. That experience shapes how every programme is designed and run.
Working directly with communities on locally led initiatives, alongside residents and local leaders.
Designing and delivering programmes with corporate partners, with the planning, governance and reporting CSR teams expect.
Running practical training that helps people build skills for work, everyday life and the digital world.
Every donor, volunteer and partner helps us reach more people. There is a place for you here.
Equip a computer corner, sponsor a batch of digital literacy classes, or support a community project. One-time or recurring.
Give a few hours a month to teach computer basics, lead a learning circle, or help run a community drive.
Our team has run CSR programmes with corporate partners. Host a programme, co-fund a project, or bring your team's skills to a community that needs them.
Care Education was registered in Punjab in 2010 by people who believe that learning, at any age, is how individuals and whole communities move forward.
Opportunity is not spread evenly. In many neighbourhoods and villages, adults never had the chance to finish school, young people lack the digital skills today's jobs ask for, and local problems go unsolved for want of a little organisation.
We work alongside these communities, not on their behalf. Our programmes are practical and local, and we measure success by what people can do for themselves afterwards.
To strengthen communities across India through locally led development, education and technology, with a focus on weaker and underserved sections of society.
Communities where everyone can learn, take part in a digital world, and shape the place they live in.
The people behind Care Education bring years of experience in grassroots initiatives, CSR partnerships with corporates, and training and skill development.
Our founding objectives guide everything we take on, now and as we grow.
Raise awareness of the challenges faced by weaker and educationally backward communities, and provide help in cash or kind so people can keep learning.
Set up training in computers, fine arts, crafts, fashion design, music, yoga, physical education and other professional subjects.
In the long term, establish and run schools, colleges and training institutes offering sound education, in India and abroad.
Our programmes build on our team's experience in grassroots work, CSR partnerships and skills training, and grow with our volunteers and partners.
Local action on the things residents say matter most.
Training in tailoring, crafts and small enterprise, building income and confidence for women and their families.
Yoga, physical education and sports activities that keep young people active, healthy and connected.
Cleanliness drives, tree planting and local improvements, organised with residents' welfare associations and panchayats.
Learning that happens in the community, for every age.
Volunteer-led study groups where children get help with homework, reading and maths in a friendly setting.
Reading, writing and everyday numeracy for adults who missed out on school, at times that suit working people.
Talks for parents and residents on the value of education, girls' learning, health and the public services available to them.
Helping people use technology with confidence, for life and for work.
Hands-on sessions on smartphones, email, digital payments and accessing government services online.
Typing, documents, spreadsheets and the internet, giving young people and job seekers a stronger start.
Spotting scams and staying safe online, plus introductions to coding and digital careers for youth.
Our programmes focus on people with the fewest opportunities. Most are free or low-cost to attend.
School-going children who need extra help or a safe place to learn after school.
Students and school leavers building skills for further study and work.
Homemakers and women looking to learn, earn and take part in community life.
Anyone who wants to read, write or get comfortable with a phone and the internet.
Our registered office is in Punjab, and our programmes are open to communities in every region of the country, delivered through local partners, a nationwide volunteer network and online learning.
We combine people on the ground with online delivery, so a programme designed in one place can reach communities anywhere in India.
NGOs, schools, panchayats and residents' associations who know their communities, building on relationships from our team's grassroots work.
Teachers, professionals and students in cities across India who give their time in person or remotely.
Live and recorded sessions in Hindi, English and regional languages, reaching people wherever they are.
Wherever you are in India, if you are a sarpanch, school principal, residents' association member or community leader, tell us what your area needs and we will explore how we can help.
We set clear goals and measure our work against them, so donors, partners and communities can see exactly what their support makes possible.
